What is eConsult and How Does It Work?
Key Information
- eConsult is a secure online form on our website used for non-urgent medical advice and administrative requests, such as sick notes or test results.
- Your completed eConsult is sent securely to our practice and reviewed by a designated triage GP to decide the best person to handle it.
- We will respond by the end of the next working day with a plan for your care, which could be a link to book an appointment, a prescription, or a call from a clinician.
- The system includes access to trusted NHS self-help information and symptom checkers.

After you have filled out the online form and clicked 'submit', your eConsultation is sent securely to our practice.
It is then carefully reviewed by our designated triage GP, who will decide on the best person within our team to handle your query. We will then respond to you by the end of the next working day with a clear plan. This may include a link to book an appointment, a prescription sent to your pharmacy, a phone call from one of our clinicians, or medical advice.
